Artisan is a cloud service, so you can access it using a web browser. While all browsers should work, each one processes and displays information a little differently. To get the most out of Artisan, it is strongly recommended that you use Google Chrome, Chromium, or Mozilla Firefox, as Artisan has been extensively tested on these browsers.

A web application designed as a desktop application

Although Artisan runs in your browser, it has been designed to work as a desktop application. For example, you can double-click to go into a folder or watch a video in the player. This way, working with Artisan and Autograph is simple and coherent.

To maximize your experience with Artisan, you can switch your browser to fullscreen mode, usually by pressing the F11 key on your keyboard. To get out of fullscreen mode, simply press the F11 key again.

Mouse position and panels

When you position your mouse over a panel, this panel is active and any keyboard shortcuts used to perform actions will be applied to this panel. You don't need to click on the panel, you just need to position your mouse over the relevant panel.

For example, if you want to use the video player, it is important to position the cursor of your mouse over this panel so that the keyboard controls work.
